RESPONSIBILITIES

Concept, write, and edit copy for a variety of software/cloud product releases working closely with the Product Management team in an agile methodology

Perform effective project management & technical leadership role. Responsible to create project plan, project schedule, track the plan till complete delivery.

Monitor technology trends and best practices such as emerging standards for new opportunities to improve technical documentation.

Ensure, and create as needed, technical writing processes, practices and operations to ensure reproducible development and high quality

Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand the requirements for the project, develop effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project.

Write original content and edit communication materials both on and offline, including reports, white papers, knowledge base, user guides and release notes.

Gather information, use cases, from product managers and other team members use in all documentation and knowledge management.

Prepare weekly and quarterly progress reports, charts, presentations and ensure effective communications, visibility and knowledge management;

Create project plans and define project milestones to be executed by project teams, while ensuring the optimal use of resources to meet the client objectives

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and devise contingency plans. Understand and articulate the business and technical implications of decisions that are being made by the project teams, whilst managing senior stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Effectively communicate and manage clients expectations throughout the development life cycle. Monitor the project status and present relevant project reports to the internal and external stakeholders.

DESIRED PROFILE – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

Demonstrate capacity to plan, prioritize and deliver tasks on time to meet goals on a highly pressured environment

Excellent short-form and long-form writing skills in a variety of voices and tones. Adhere to brand tone, manor and editorial style guidelines, as needed

Strong English writing, grammar, editing, and proofreading skills. An ability to craft language and communication to multiple target audiences

Ability to build strong relationships with team members and cross-functional partners. Strong interpersonal, presentation and verbal communication skills

Competency on training, knowledge management and learning. Promotes a knowledge sharing and learning culture in the office

The candidate should have a Bachelors/Masters degree in mass communications/ journalism/english/business/marketing or other relevant fields.

Should be well versed with marketing technology landscape including custom web development, cloud, and social media.

Should have excellent team management experience and be able to mentor, guide them to ensure effective execution.

At least 7 years relevant work experience in technical communication, documentation, and publication. Plus relevant project management certifications.
